Themes of innovation, enterprise and entrepreneurship are woven across the GEMS Wellington School Qatar’s curriculum. Daily we encourage our students to be independent, global, innovating thinkers.

GEMS Wellington School Qatar has partnered with the education service company 8billionideas, enabling new forms of future focused learning for its students.

8billionideas is an innovative educational service with a mission to give every student on the planet the skills and belief to change the world. They have been supporting the school in delivering world class careers, entrepreneurship, and skills learning to all students.

Our partnership with 8billionideas allows GEMS WSQ to run several initiatives now and throughout future academic years. For Years 1 to 6, annual enterprise competitions take place, celebrating imaginations as the students create and develop ideas. Older students in Years 10 to 13 utilize a 4-part programme called the WSQ MBA. This multi-part programme gives students business and entrepreneurial education as they approach their future next steps.

Finally, students in Years 5 to 9 have access to 8billionideas’ innovative and unique live service platform. This 24/7 online service gives students access to Live Experiences, Courses and Videos. They also are able to chat with 8billionideas mentors to get advice or collaborate on new entrepreneurial ideas.
