Jaffar Ghafoor
Head of Physics
My name is Jaffar Ali Ghafoor and I am Head of Physics and Teacher of Science, as well as a tutor for SFB.
I graduated from Royal Holloway University of London with a BSc Physics, quickly followed up with a PGCE in Physics and Maths from University of East London. I started in professional education as a tutor for a wide range of educational companies before progressing onto Teaching since 2016.
My second year here at GEMS has followed on from my first year where I was introduced to a community which resonated with my values of kindness and excellence. I look to continue to support students with these values in my roles.
I take every opportunity I can to travel and love to play football at any given opportunity.
