BSME (British Schools in the Middle East)
BSME supports a network of high quality British International Schools in the region. Why is it important? Providing opportunities to learn and contribute to best practice within British International Schools across the Middle East region.
Pearson / Edexcel
Accreditation means becoming an official approved examination centre. As a school we can now facilitate any examination with Pearson Edexcel. We successfully completed accreditation including the application, policy and formal inspection and were approved in January 2021.
Council of International Schools
The Council of International Schools (CIS) is a membership community committed to high quality international education. Member schools must infuse their programmes and offerings with international and intercultural perspective so that students can move forward with the attitudes and understanding that will provide them with a solid base wherever their studies or work may take them.
British Schools Overseas
BSO accreditation means that WSQ is officially recognised by the Department for Education (DfE) in the UK. The framework to meet these standards ensures that we are now recognised amongst the top schools in the world.
High Performance Learning framework
As an accredited World Class School, WSQ has demonstrated expertise in contemporary learning science and embedded the High Performance Learning framework, which systematically builds the cognitive competencies that research demonstrates lead to success.
Wellbeing Award For Schools
This accreditation focuses on changing the long-term culture of the whole school. Using an evidence-based framework to drive change, it has helped WSQ to deliver staff and pupil wellbeing, improve staff training, and enhance wellbeing policies. This award ensures that mental health and wellbeing sit at the heart of school life at WSQ.
